RETIREMENT PLUS ‘DELIGHTED’ WITH RESPONSE TO HOME REVERSION SEMINARS 01/02/2008
Retirement Plus has had a fantastic response to its free home reversion ‘Top Up’ exam seminars, which it introduced to help IFAs and brokers pass their exams on Home Reversion Plans.
The positive feedback from the many IFAs and brokers who have attended the seminars in Maidstone, Brentwood, Bristol and Southampton has been especially encouraging.
The seminars are a direct response to the fact that SHIP has set a deadline for advisers to pass their top-up exams by April 2008. Any adviser who has not passed the exams by that date cannot claim to be whole of market in equity release and will not be able to do business with a SHIP member after that date.
To encourage advisers to take the exams Retirement Plus is also refunding the exam costs for those who have attended a seminar and passed the exams in one sitting before 30 April 2008.
So far, another 150 IFAs and brokers have registered for the remaining seminars which will be held at the following locations:
Leeds 5th February 08 12:00noon – 2.00pm
Haydock 6th February 08 9.30am – 11.30am
Coventry 12th February 08 12.00noon – 2.00pm
Glasgow – SECC 6th March 08 9.45am – 11.45am
Duncan Young, CEO said: “We have been delighted with the response to the seminars – they have proven to be extremely educational and very useful to the IFA community.
“At Retirement Plus we are committed to helping brokers and financial advisers pass their exams and grow their businesses. These coaching seminars aim to give them a broader understanding of the expanding home reversion sector, and the part it plays in the wider equity release market. ”
